What do you need to bring on training days? • Please bring yourself and dress in a professional, appropriate uniform with closed-toe shoes. Hair must be tied back and jewellery must be removed for all practical training. High professional standards must be adhered to. What is included in the practical session? • All practical lessons will include demonstrations, coaching and delivery. You will be completely hands-on with constant support to achieve safe and effective treatments. This allows you to train, gain experience and feel confident to perform treatments within the industry. How much theory is there to cover? • All theory will be delivered online and is to be completed in your own time. Additional theory support can be arranged if required. We advise completing theory training prior to practical course dates, but this is not essential. Venue • Parking: We have onsite parking. • Refreshments and food: We will provide refreshments and a few cheeky biscuits. There is a Costa located a 5-minute walk away and a Co-op a 2-minute walk away. • Accessibility: We are located on a ground floor location with a small step. If access or support is needed, please make staff aware so we can accommodate. Terms and conditions • Please complete purchase of your course by purchasing directly on our website. Once a booking is made, the price paid is final and no price difference can be refunded in the event of a later course price reduction. • Last Minute Offer prices are strictly for the specified course date. All Last Minute Offer course bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of being unable to attend for any reason. • Further discounts are not applicable. • Patch testing is required 24 hours prior to any training dates for relevant treatments. Failure to complete this will revoke the opportunity to practise treatment on the public or models. • Cambridge Beauty Academy can provide patch-tested models at £15 per model per treatment (please make staff aware and pre-arrange at least 48 hours prior to the course date). These courses include: eyebrow or lash tinting, lash lift, brow lamination, eyelash extensions, highly defined brows. • We can accept no responsibility for any costs incurred where you attend for training booked at the last minute for which a place is unavailable and has not yet been confirmed for you. Covid statement • All courses are non-refundable or transferable once purchased. You have lifetime access to course material and the business support and development programme and group forum, plus 3 months’ access to the Beauty Guild student portal from enrolment.
